If you ever get the chance to travel out to beautiful Colorado and are looking for the most picturesque, Western mountain town, look no farther than Crested Butte. With an average snowfall of 196 inches and tucked away in the western part of the Elk Mountain Range, Crested Butte allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, offers many outdoor activities, and is about the cutest town you have ever seen. With buildings that have been kept in their original form to the beautiful mountain scenery, you will for sure not be disappointed with the Butte.

The Crested Butte Ski Resort offers 121 trails and 57% of the mountain is devoted to blue cruising skiers or snowboarders. Outside of skiing at the resort, other options include:
