Mountain Towns: Vail, Colorado - What To Do Around Vail Village

If you are planning a trip out to Colorado and are looking for beautiful places to visit, you need to add Vail to your list. Less than two hours away from Denver, Vail offers so many outdoor activities, food and beverage spots, luxurious accommodations, and offers the most picturesque views that make content creation easy.
Outdoor Adventures
This is the Covered Bridge located in Vail Village. This is a great spot to capture a picture of the iconic bridge over the river.
If you plan on visiting Vail and do some research on activities to do while you are there, you will quickly find the list of outdoor activities is so long. The Vail Valley offers a variety of activities, from skiing in the winter season to fly fishing in the summer.

Vail Ski Resort offers over 5,000 acres of skiable terrain and offers 195 trails, all ranging in skill level.
If you are visiting in the winter season, Vail Ski Resort offers over 5,000 acres of skiable terrain and offers 195 trails, all ranging in skill level. The longest run at the resort is Riva Ridge which goes on for 4 miles down the mountain, giving you breathtaking views of the valley. Be sure to bring your GoPro to help capture amazing content of you skiing down the mountain to share with your digital community.

Vail Village
Vail Village offers shopping, food, drinks, desserts, and beautiful views of Vail mountain.
One of our favorite things to do in Vail is head to Vail Village and walk around, taking in the beautiful views, local shops, and yummy food. Vail Village will have you feeling like you are walking around a town in Switzerland with the design and architecture of the buildings.

Food & Drink in the Village
If you're looking for a nice dinner spot, check out Lancelot Restaurant, in the heart of Vail Village.
You will definitely not be disappointed with the options for filling your belly or grabbing a yummy drink at the end of your day in Vail Village. There are many top of the line restaurants in the Village, making it convenient to get to. Here is a list of some of our favorite food and drink spots:
Pazzo's Pizza has been a favorite of ours since 2016 when we got engaged on Vail Pass. It is so delicous and the perfect spot to fill your stomach after outdoor adventures!
- Joe’s Famous Deli & Homemade Ice Cream (best desert in the Village!)
Walking around the Village, you will notice there are many spots to grab a bite to eat. If you're craving some ice cream, you can't miss Joe's.
- El Segundo (delicious margarita's and tacos!)
el Segundo is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the Village, offering delicious margs and unique tacos. We suggest the Hot Korean taco.
Ford Park- A Hidden Gem
Ford Park is a beautiful spot to walk, have a picnic, and find a secluded spot to capture content.
Within the heart of Vail Village lies a hidden gem called Ford Park that includes a gravel sidewalk alongside the river and offers a beautiful, peaceful outside walk outside of the village.
Along the walk in Ford Park, you will be walking through trees and along the river.
This was one of our favorite spots to find a bench, shoot some content to share with our community, take in some fresh air, and listen to the rushing river. It is a great spot to walk your dog, stretch your legs, or get some content.
Vail Village will have you feel like you have been taken away to a town in Switzerland. Be sure to bring your camera and take in all the sights.
Whether you enjoy just spending time outside or shopping in the Village, Vail offers so many opportunities for you to relax, soak in the mountain air, or capture content to share with your community. You won't regret visiting Vail!
